“We held a 3 day workshop for 19 people at Littlefields and everything, but I mean everything, was perfect. It was super relaxing, well run, and the perfect venue to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We wanted a quiet workshop setting where we could escape the normal clutter of life and its demands, and be in the country enabling us to think deeply and innovatively. As a small workshop venue, Littlefields gave us everything we could possibly want. It was informal and homely, with stunning food that was healthy and delicious. The accommodation was shared with another house, and both were very comfy and luxurious and suited all our needs. Our 19 participants thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and we will certainly be back!”

We recently held a workshop at Littlefields for WWF-SA staff from the freshwater programme and SANBI staff on how to convene partnerships. It was the perfect setting. Space for private contemplation, the wonderful light, space indoors to work in and fresh muffins everyday. Each meal was so wholesome and tasty it felt like we were being nourished in more ways than one. On day two Di and her wonderful staff prepared a picnic table under the trees and when she found out that one person was celebrating their birthday she ordered us the most amazing birthday cakes to celebrate. The work we were doing together was hard but throughout it all we felt cared for and nurtured by Di and the Littlefields staff. I have been staying at Littlefields for over 5 years. This is the first time that we have held a workshop there and it was a unique and special experience.
